Dr. Fidelma Healy Eames, PhD, MSc., BEd., Cert. Health Promotion, Accredited Psychometric Tester, British Psychological Society is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Atlantic Public Affairs.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Fidelma has more than 25 years experience in education, politics and public affairs.. A former lecturer in teacher education and director of FHE Education & Training Consultants, today Fidelma specializes in the fields of education, talent and public affairs. Whether she is working with an individual, business, organisation or school, she is passionate about helping them to succeed and to move to the next level in order to grow.

She holds a doctorate degree (NUIG) in creative thinking, language and writing with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees respectively in education.

POLITICAL LIFE

A former recent Senator (2007-16), Councillor (2004-2007), member of the European Affairs Joint Oireachtas Committee and the Joint Oireachtas Education, Social Protection & Jobs Committee, she has an intimate knowledge of how government works, lobbying and government relations. She nurtures strong relationships at local, national and european level and enjoys an excellent network of contacts.

Fidelma has accumulated a broad range of media experience. She is a regular contributor to current affairs programmes with recent appearances and contributions to broadcast and print media eg., Tonight Show TV3, Pat Kenny Show, Late Late Show, Cutting Edge, Sunday Independent, in addition to local media. Her strengths in this area will complement the client offering of Atlantic Public Affairs.

FROM MENTORING AND COACHING TO LITERARY, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL HERITAGE

Fidelma is an experienced mentor and coach. Fidelma is married with two children, now young people and lives in Maree, Oranmore.
